Adventures in Italian Opera

Singers must audition for this fun vocal intensive. Singers will be cast in some of the most famous and fun-to-sing Italian operas. All participants will receive instruction in Italian diction, voice technique, style, musicianship and stage performance. All students will perform an aria and in a duet, trio or quartet on Saturday, November 1st at 6:00pm. Only the brave need apply.

Schedule: Saturdays, October 18th, October 25th and November 1st from 2:00pm to 6:00pm.

Adventures in Singing

This is a group singing class where students learn technique, ear training and stage performance in a fun and encouraging environment. Each class includes a group warm-up with technique instruction, ear training and sight-reading drills. Our repertoire includes unison sing-a-longs, duets and rounds. Some songs include short solos where each student will have the opportunity to be featured.

Instructor: Beth Rohde

Schedule: The class meets every Thursday from 3:30pm to 4:20pm from September 18th through December 11th. There will be no class on Thanksgiving week.

Location: Starfish, 934 Hermosa Avenue, Hermosa Bech, 90254 (just down the stairs from Coast Music Conservatory).

Price: $380/session ($30/class + $20 materials)
